While serving on the Grant Committee, I’ve had the opportunity to visit and get to know some of these charities. Angel Tapia

Executive Director

Angel Tapia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a background in event management, volunteer satisfaction and third-party partnerships. As a 15-year veteran of the nonprofit sector, she also has a passion to work with community groups and businesses to make a difference in the world. Angel moved from California to Texas 10 years ago and lives in Katy with her daughters Celeste 21 and Daysha 14.

Kim Icenhower

Administrator

Kim Icenhower has worked with Fort Bend Cares as its Administrator since 2008. She works closely with the Executive Director on administrative and financial functions, as well as in other important capacities.

Kim Icenhower, FSMPS, CPSM is President of Icenhower Consulting, LLC, a Marketing and Campaign Consulting firm in the Houston area with over 35 years of experience. She is a Fellow and a Certified Professional Services Marketer in the Society for Marketing Professional Services and has a BS in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is married and has two sons.
