2020 Road Trip to South America
Thank You!
We couldn’t have done it without You!
Fort Bend Cares would like to thank our Presenting Sponsors Jacobs and PBK Architects, Titanium sponsor Fluor, Give Where You Live Underwriter Rice & Gardner Consultants, Inc., Gold Sponsors Art Attack, Billy and Tammy Brown, and Gregg Engineering, 2019 Grant Reception Sponsor Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.
Saturday February 1st saw over 600 supporters revel in the festival atmosphere of South America at the 15th annual Road Trip organized by Fort Bend Cares and held at Fluor in Sugar Land. Local TV personality Khambrel Marshall gave the welcome address to the guests many of whom were sporting a variety of regionally specific attire ranging from colorful alpaca shawls to Carmenesque fruit hats. The party goers enjoyed a sparkling dance performance by members of the Arthur Murray dance school, and later took to the dance floor themselves to the foot tapping songs of Shark Bait, Sugar Land’s own R&B Rock Band. There was all the excitement of live and silent auctions, wine and jewelry pulls, speed art and food from many local restaurants. The event raised more than $160,000 to benefit organizations providing essential services to children and families in Fort Bend County.
We couldn’t have done it without all our Sponsors, restaurants, and attendees for supporting this event and helping raise funds to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Fort Bend County.
We look forward to seeing you all at the event next year. Save The Date: January 30, 2021!
